As a Custodial Specialist, you will provide janitorial services for H-E-B facilities.

What is the work?
Sanitation:
- Responsible for physical upkeep of multiple buildings located on the Arsenal Complex, as well as outlying satellite offices
- Cleans offices, restrooms, lobbies, break rooms, recreational facilities, and conference rooms; dusts furniture and fixtures as needed
- Responsible for carpet and floor care
- Performs general exterior cleaning of all facilities
- Removes all recycling items and trash from buildings
- Cleans windows and arcade area
- Re-stocks soap, paper towels, and toilet paper dispensers
- Performs major cleaning, including power-washing
- Identifies and communicates potential equipment / building maintenance issues
What is your background?
- 1+ years of experience in custodial work
Do you have what it takes to be a fit as a Custodial Specialist at H-E-B?
- Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures and proper cleaning chemical application
- Ability to operate janitorial equipment, such as vacuum, high-powered washer, buffer, handcarts, ladders, window squeegees, etc.
- Ability to work at a steady, diligent pace to complete assigned duties within allotted timeframe and quality standards
- Ability to work standing or walking the entire work shift
- Ability to follow instructions and work under little supervision

- Travel by car
- Work in disagreeable conditions, such as extreme temperatures, dust, noise, and dirt
- Lift 50 lbs and carry for a distance of 25 feet
