Senior Product Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Product Analyst to join the Heartland Bank Australia team based in Melbourne or Brisbane Australia on a 12-month fixed term contract.

You will partner closely with the Head of Product to effectively lead strategy, insights, and regulatory requirements into improvements that strengthen compliance, and enhance customer experience. You will own initiatives end‑to‑end, from analysis and business cases through to delivery, testing, and post‑implementation review.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of product changes, from analysis and business cases through to implementation and post‑launch review.

  • Build and refine product performance reporting, ensuring accurate insights for leadership and regulators.

  • Conduct pricing reviews, competitor analysis, and product optimisation initiatives across deposits, livestock, and reverse mortgage products.

  • Ensure all products, features, and collateral meet ASIC, APRA, NCCP, DDO and other regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain PDSs, TMDs, Terms & Conditions, and product documentation.

  • Coordinate customer and broker communications for product changes, including rate and fee updates.

  • Strengthen relationships across risk, compliance, credit, operations, technology, and distribution.

You’re a pro with:

  • End‑to End‑product ownership in a regulated banking environment.

  • Navigating ASIC, APRA, NCCP, DDO and related frameworks with confidence.

  • Communicating clearly with senior stakeholders

  • Managing competing priorities across BAU and project work.

  • High attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications/Certifications

  • 5+ years in senior product role or product governance within financial services.

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, economics, or a related field.

  • Practical experience managing regulated banking or lending products.
