The Bayshore on HHI is recruiting for a hospitality focused med aide to join our team! We are looking for a Full Time Med Tech with a passion for serving seniors to work on our night shift from 7p- 7a. 
This is an exciting opportunity to work full time on our nursing team, and help care for a special group of residents at The Bayshore on HHI!
 
Hourly wage starting at $20+/hr.

This position provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises the care provided by our Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants. 

 
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Med Aide:
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities and actively promote independent life-style of residents.
  • Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and re-assessment of each resident.
  • Provide daily report to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
  • Provide nursing care according to physician’s orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
  • Ensure preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to residents and assists in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
  • Med aide certification or similar experience
  • Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community
