You will drive technical vision and architectural decisions, mentor other engineers, and contribute to the technical excellence of our team. If you're excited by the challenge of combining advanced web technologies to improve heart health worldwide, we want to hear from you.</p> <p>Experience/Interest working with Vue.js highly desired.</p> <p><strong>Job Description</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Design and Develop:</strong> Independent, end-to-end ownership of the design, development, testing, and maintenance of robust customer-facing interactive web applications. Make data-driven decisions while practicing creative problem solving.</li> <li><strong>Mentorship</strong>: Mentor and guide other engineers within the team, promoting best practices and continuous learning.</li> <li><strong>Collaboration: </strong>Work closely with API teams, Product, QA, and UI/UX to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality of web applications.</li> <li><strong>Quality Assurance</strong>: Implement and maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and user experience. Build for scalability, observability, and security.</li> <li><strong>Regulatory Compliance</strong>: Ensure compliance with FDA regulations for medical software, including documentation, quality assurance processes, and adherence to regulatory standards in web application development.</li> <li><strong>Innovation</strong>: Contribute to a culture of innovation, best practices, and continuous improvement within the team.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Education:&nbsp;</strong></li> <ul> <li>BS in Computer Science or a related technical field + 8 years of experience;</li> <li>OR MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field + 6 years;</li> <li>OR equivalent practical experience as a full-stack software engineer.</li> </ul> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong proficiency in <strong>TypeScript</strong> ​​and other web technologies</li> <li><strong>Project Experience</strong>: Demonstrated experience in building and deploying large-scale, customer-facing web applications.</li> <li><strong>Leadership Skills</strong>: Experience contributing to technical vision and translating strategy into design; ability to mentor and guide other engineers.</li> <li><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong>: Proven track record of successful collaboration with product management and design teams in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li><strong>Methodologies</strong>: Experience with Agile development methodologies and project management tools.</li> <li><strong>Security Knowledge</strong>: Strong understanding of web security best practices.</li> <li><strong>DevOps</strong>: Experience with DevOps best practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines).</li> <li><strong>Regulatory Understanding</strong>: Experience with or willingness to learn about FDA regulations and compliance requirements for medical software.</li> </ul> <p><strong>How You Stand Out</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Vue.js Expertise</strong>: Hands-on experience with Vue.js and its ecosystem</li> <li><strong>Cloud Proficiency</strong>: Familiarity with AWS services.</li> <li><strong>Regulated Industry Experience</strong>: Previous experience working with FDA-regulated products or in another highly regulated industry.</li> <li><strong>Healthcare Knowledge</strong>: Familiarity with medical imaging products or healthcare technologies.</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A reasonable estimate of the base salary compensation range is $180,000 to $215,000, bonus, and equity. #LI-IB1<br></span></p><div class="content-conclusion"><div>Heartflow is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
