Key Responsibilities (What You’re Doing)

  • Ideate, plan, and pilot innovative IP extensions—including social formats, podcasts, event series, and newsletters—with performance, audience engagement, and revenue in mind
  • Execute special projects from start to finish independently and at a high level of quality
  • Collaborate across editorial, design, marketing, and branded content teams to effectively brand, visualize, and promote projects
  • Source, manage, and lead partnerships with external brands on events, experiential marketing, and merchandise
  • Conduct research and competitive analysis; share insights with leadership and proactively pitch new strategies
  • Support experimentation with new platforms, tools, and processes to improve workflow and productivity
  • Work closely with Cosmopolitan leadership to turn pilot programs into scalable initiatives
  • (As needed) Assist in producing and editing Cosmopolitan’s video and social series

 

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

  • 5+ years of experience producing innovative events, video, or digital content, ideally in a media or agency environment
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape, social trends, and editorial best practices
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and execute independently with a high attention to detail
  • Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset and resourceful approach to production
  • Collaborative communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
  • Passion for Cosmopolitan’s brand and audience, with a pulse on what will resonate
  • Bonus: A portfolio that showcases original projects and creative execution
  • Hybrid role based in NYC; required in-office presence is 4 days per week

The base salary for this role is between $70,000 - $80,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
