About this role

The Opportunity 

Homecare Homebase is searching for a Manager of Operational Excellence who will work with our clients to ensure the HCHB product is being used to the best of its ability, while staying regulatorily compliant and producing the best ROI upon implementation.  This position requires a deep operational knowledge of Home Health and Hospice industries as well intimate experience with the HCHB Product. This position will be responsible to develop best practice workflows and overall use HCHB to ensure clients are successful in an operational environment.   

The Challenge  

At Homecare Homebase, we help home health and hospice organizations across the nation overcome the business and technological challenges that stand in the way of patient care and efficiency. As Manager of Operational Excellence, you will play an essential role in providing operational guidance to new and existing customers.  This includes consulting regarding best practice workflows, design decisions, staffing models, and regulatory compliance.  This role is critical in aligning client operations with the best use of HCHB Software. 

You will be responsible for:

  • Best Practice Implementation: Translate operational concepts into practical workflows that deliver measurable value and support client success.
  • Quality Improvement: Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Process Development: Develop and refine processes to streamline implementation and improve team effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal departments to identify opportunities, resolve barriers, and accelerate improvement.
  • Client Education & Enablement: Empower clients to become self-sufficient with HCHB, maximizing ROI and optimizing their operational performance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of ongoing feedback, experimentation, and learning to raise the bar on performance.

 

What We're Looking For 

Homecare Homebase’s mission is to empower exceptional care among all the clients we serve.  The Manager of Operational Excellence supports this mission by providing careful observation and keen insight into the implementation department’s people, processes, and technologies as well as supporting our strategic company goals.    

We are looking for a talented, passionate individual who has at least 8 to 10 years of operational experience using HCHB in a Home Health and/or Hospice environment, as well as a deep understanding of the HCHB Application.  The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Proven leadership experience building teams, implementing new technologies, and guiding organizations through transformational change and consensus-building
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage executives, clients, and cross-functional teams to articulate vision and drive results
  • Extensive experience with HCHB implementations and developing best practices across the full implementation lifecycle
  • Demonstrated ability to streamline and automate processes for improved adoption and operational excellence
  • The ability to provide innovative solutions with technology to drive seamless experience that wows our users
  • The ability to travel to support the sales process, build customer relationships, provide leadership oversite, and conduct employee quality reviews

Education and other requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8-10 years of operational experience using HCHB 
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience leading a team
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems
  • Current driver’s license and ability to rent a vehicle
