About this role

We are offering a 12-month postgraduate fellowship program for Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners interested in advanced training in Psychiatry with a targeted start date of June 2026.

The HealthPartners Psychiatry Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Fellowship engages APC learners in extensive training within Psychiatry, as well as required rotations in specialty areas deemed essential for proficiency. Responsibilities include performing histories and physicals, formulating an assessment and plan, and providing recommended treatments. The APC fellow will be based primarily at Regions.

Didactic sessions compliment the diverse rotations and hands on experiences, offering APC Fellows the opportunity to develop clinical competence, critical thinking skills, and interprofessional collaboration. This allows APCs to successfully integrate into the specialty of Psychiatry at an accelerated rate compared with on-the-job training.
