About this role

Regions outpatient Rehab has an opportunity available for an individual with exceptional customer service skills to join our Neuroscience Center in a Ambulatory Reception Coordinator/Scheduler position. 

 

This position will help create and maintain a welcoming environment for all patients, visitors, and staff by providing exceptional customer service Independently performs patient check-in, registration/insurance verification, appointment scheduling, providing patient directions, monitoring wait times, and acting as a patient advocate.  Assists in supporting the Scheduling Coordinators by receiving incoming calls and scheduling Rehabilitation for all outpatient sites as needed. This work may vary in percentage of time per function, in location, and working schedule. Performs related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday-630a-5p 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year previous clerical and/or customer service experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years post-secondary education in Healthcare or Business Administration

  • Three to four years in a health care setting
