We are offering a 12-month postgraduate program for Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners interested in advanced training in Primary Care with a start date of June 2026.
The Primary Care Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Fellowship Program engages learners in extensive training in a variety of teaching environments and sub-specialties. Primary Care APC Fellows will spend a significant portion of their training at a primary care site, with rotations in those specialty areas deemed essential for proficiency in Primary Care at HealthPartners. Responsibilities include basic medical duties of performing histories and physicals, formulating an assessment and plan, and providing necessary treatments and procedures. Building on ACGME Family Medicine Core Competencies and common patient care presentations, APC fellows will have the opportunity to continue development of clinical competence, critical thinking skills, interprofessional collaboration, and professional growth.
