Job Description: Assessing, intervening, planning, using evidence informed interventions, evaluating and documenting services. Services are provided to groups or individuals in inpatient, outpatient or community settings, relating to the client's leisure needs, interests and abilities and overall treatment plan. Overseeing the delivery of the overall Recreation Therapy service for a program or team and supervise Recreation Coordinators and Therapy Assistants where applicable. The Recreation Therapist works within the standards and competencies as outlined by the Canadian Therapeutic Recreation Association Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
