    Job Description: Kinetk is a tertiary level intervention program for clients with musculoskeletal injuries. The program features strong collaboration across disciplines, an evidence based approach to practice, and priority for staff education and training. Clients/patients are often experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, loss/change, family, and marital issues, pain and health behavior. This will encompass psychological and vocational assessment and treatment services provided within a multidisciplinary team. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

    • PhD in Clinical Psychology

    • Sucessful completion of a CPA
    • Successful completion of an accredited pre-doctoral internship program
    Competencies
    • Basic - Consultation skills
    • Basic - Assessment skills
    Knowledge and Abilities
    • Clinical assessment and therapy skills in the area of major mental disorders
    • Interest and training (or wiliness to train) in application to biofeedback pain
    • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
    • Knowledge in psychological assessment and treatment methods and tools
    • Knowledge in the field of health psychology and pain management
    • Ability to work independently
