HDR is currently seeking a qualified candidate to assist with site due diligence and site selection. The ideal candidate will have a background in a variety of areas, including land development permitting, utility coordination, and environmental permitting. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Support a variety of projects including due diligence and supporting work for data centers, industrial sites and power facilities. 
  • Perform research about local ordinances, and environmental project risks. 
  • Participate in site visits performing field reconnaissance of projects with other HDR staff. 
  • Coordinate with multiple internal teams is required on each project. 
  • Will be expected to be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Must be proficient in land development permitting and have interest in learning civil engineering concepts related to project development. 
  • The ideal candidate will be interested in working on a variety of projects and be able to coordinate between multiple groups and have excellent communication skills. 
  • Must be familiar with creation of permit matrices, IPAC reports, stream and wetland delineation and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience

  • Experience in coordinating with environmental planning agencies

  • Ability and interest to work on various types of projects and perform multiple roles depending upon the project need

     

  • Ability to travel up to 20 percent based on client’s schedules

  • Experience with Data Center Development

  • Experience with environmental permitting

  • Experience in developing standards for client needs



Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Resources or Planning
  • Experienced in MS Office Suite
  • Self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving and research abilities
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
