Primary Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation, and graphic presentations
- Perform overall site layout, grading, utility layout, and drainage
- Perform routine engineering assignments requiring the application of standard techniques and procedures
- Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables
- Perform administrative duties associated with project management for civil/site projects
- Work independently on small projects or assist more senior engineers on larger projects
- Assist the project team with project permitting submittal requirements with applicable jurisdictions
- Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity and demonstrated experience with civil engineering software such as Bentley Concept Station and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil 3D, specialty civil platforms (e.g. Openflows)
- Preference will be given to local candidates
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
- Proficientwith MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience withcivil engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and/or AutodeskInfraworks and Civil 3D; specialty civil platforms (e.g., Openflows) asrequired
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
