- Perform engineering assignments under the direct supervision of a licensed engineer
- Design tasks involving judgment in evaluating, selecting and applying engineering techniques and procedures
- Production of design drawings and construction documents through the use of computer aided design and other design software
- Preparation of design and quantity calculations
- Preparation of specifications and contract documents
- Other duties as assigned by the supervising engineer
- Coordination with other disciplines as necessary
- When required, coordinate the work of one or more Technical Specialists
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Associate's degree in engineering or related field of study or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 15 years of engineering experience in the discipline to be supported
- Aptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with computer applications specific to the discipline to be supported
- Extensive knowledge of industry standards specific to the discipline being supported
- Proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary environments
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

What you'll do
- The Senior Mechanical Technical Specialist will perform engineering assignments under supervision, design tasks, produce design drawings, and prepare specifications and contract documents. Coordination with other disciplines and overseeing Technical Specialists may also be required.
