Build Your Career While Supporting Projects That Shape Communities

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-driven Assistant Project Administrator to join our construction services team in Orlando to help support our Project Administrator and Inspection staff. If you're passionate about roadway construction and thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment, we want to hear from you.

In the role of Assistant Project  Administrator we'll count on you to:
  • Administer contract activity with moderate to high risk to the corporation under the direction of a more-senior contracts professional
  • Perform non-routine contract activity that may require development of specialized contract vehicles and techniques to accomplish business goals and objectives
  • Exercise independent judgment and analysis of significant issue identification and resolution
  • Apply knowledge of contracting concepts, and follow and enforce company and client requirements
  • Coordinate closely with all parties involved
  • Perform other duties as needed 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous field or Sr Inspector experience is a plus
  • FDOT or Florida Turnpike experience highly desired
  • Ability to interpret construction schedules


Required Qualifications
  • 3 years contract related experience; advanced degree or contract certification program may substitute for years of experience
  • Professional, self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented with the flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, with minimal management oversight
  • Excellent writing and people skills
  • Strong math and organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
