Front of House Porter

Location – The Harborne Hospital, Birmingham

Permanent, Full time, 37.5 hours/week. Monday – Sunday various shifts between 7:00 – 22:00. On the very rare occasion, you may be asked to cover a night shift

Salary - £13.36 per hour + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)

There is an exciting opportunity for a Porter to join our Hotel Services Team based at The Harborne Hospital. This is a vital role in providing a portering/security service of the highest quality to all departments, staff, patients and visitors.

What you’ll do:

• Collection of blood around the hospital

• Waste collection

• Moving items when required

• Delivery/collection of mail, linen, drugs and other items as requested

• Assisting patients with luggage and escorting them to their rooms

• Relieving receptionist staff during breaks

• Any other duties as requested

What you’ll bring:

• Previous Porter experience is essential

• Good Communication skills

• Clean Driving License
