SUMMARY

Supervises and coordinates activities and operations of the mechanical machines, arcade machines, and remote-control amusements within the operation.



DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervises and organizes arcade areas and its staff activities
  • Supervises operation, providing high-quality guest service and maintaining merchandising and cleanliness standards
  • Works to achieve company objectives regarding arcade sales budget
  • Assists senior and on-site management with arcade projects
  • Assist guests and perform minor or major repairs on various machines without the assistance of a mechanic on duty
  • Ensures inventory and shrink goals are achieved
  • Maintains appropriate spare parts levels to effectively minimize downtime of the machines or remotes
  • Order placement with appropriate vendors and distributors to ensure timely delivery of goods for redemption, cranes, and dispensers
  • Ensures operation is fully stocked and that merchandise and visual standards are met
  • Maintains a high level of guest service by ensuring that merchandising/recovery is completed
  • Ensures complaints from guests are quickly resolved
  • Works with Games Manager to develop creative plans to increase operation sales
  • Provides training and evaluative feedback to all arcade staff
  • Trains, supervises, motivates, and develops arcade staff
  • Assigns duties and monitors quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures
  • Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates
  • Supervises the unloading of trucks, sorting of merchandise, stocking the prize hub, redemption counters, and cranes
  • Carries out related duties in other operations throughout the United States to support the needs of the Company
  • Ensures that the site operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Conducts self in a positive manner when dealing with park personnel, guests, and vendors
  • Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas, and taking corrective actions
  • Prepares all necessary reports and paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
  • Directly supervises up to 10 employees within the arcade operation
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
  • Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • One to two years related experience or equivalent
  • Knowledge of shrink reductions plans
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
