Registered Nurse (RN) - Circulator

We are a modern, state of the art outpatient surgery center located in the heart of San Francisco. We are in search of a Registered Nurse to join us part-time or in our per diem float pool. We are looking for individuals who have experience in circulating, pre-op and PACU. We have per-diem, part-time and full-time opportunities available. 

Responsibilities:

• RN provides patient care based upon the nursing process; being effectively involved with maintaining the standard of care for assigned patients through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• RN will oversee and guide employees that are under their supervision
• RN is under the direction of the Nurse Manager

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served in the ASC
• Demonstrate the knowledge of the principle of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess date reflective of the patient's requirements relative to their age specific needs and to provide care needed as described in the ASC's policies and procedures
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret common professional journals, nationally recognized guidelines and regulations
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from patients, staff, physicians, and regulatory agencies
• Ability to effectively present information to staff, management and physicians
• Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and board of directors

Education and Experience:

• Degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in procedures and/or operating room, PACU, or Pre-Admission in a surgical setting
• Peri-Operative experience required
• Plastic surgery experience preferred

Required Licensure and Certification:

• Current RN license in the state of California
• Current ACLS Certification
• Current PALS Certification preferred

Compensation:

• Compensation to commensurate with experience
