Position Summary

 

The Procurement Professional is responsible for supporting enterprise-wide procurement activities with a focus on contract governance, vendor risk, and expense management. This position ensures procurement practices align with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and the Credit Union’s financial objectives. The role partners closely with business leaders, Legal, and vendors to enable effective sourcing decisions, manage third-party relationships, and mitigate operational and compliance risk. The Procurement Professional plays a key role in translating procurement strategy into consistent, compliant, and efficient execution across the organization.

 

Qualifications/Experience

 

  • 4 - 6 years of related experience in procurement or contract management.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of procurement concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience with contract administration and vendor management.
  • Experience developing policies and procedures.
  • Well organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and support projects from initiation through completion.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research, documentation, and records management skills.
  • Excellent analytical abilities, including the ability to apply logical and analytical reasoning to define problems, analyze data, and interpret solutions in a structured and objective manner.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers, standard office equipment, and financial/accounting and business software systems.

 

Salary Range

 

  • Minimum - $69,092
  • Maximum - $110,546
