Job Summary 

The Global Growth Director provides strategic recommendations and manages all agency resources to ensure the pitch needs are met. They lead and monitor day-to-day activities as well as manage, motivate, and support the new business team and pitch teams. They work with other departments to develop and execute prospecting and new business strategies and begin to foster relationships with consultants and clients.  They should be comfortable in running a pitch process from beginning to end.

Mission & Responsibilities 

New leads generation: 

  • Prospect development - with associated marketing plans and initiatives 
  • Support the definition of priority targets and the creation of strategies to help convert these 
  • Prepare prospecting materials 
  • Oversee prospect analysis 
  • Manage prospecting efforts and tools 

 

Global pitch process for Global/multi-country clients:  

  • Manage /coordinate all elements of the pitch process at global level, including external freelancers 
  • Develop and implement pitch best practice (discipline and process) 
  • Prepare RFIs and manage RFP and presentation production 

 
Support to local New Business activities: 

  • Work with local teams to improve, enhance and support local New Business activities, efforts and individual pitches 
  • Support local markets to enrich and enhance their local New Business efforts 
  • Share knowledge and best practice, through online New Business library management 
     

Team management:

  • Manage teams to optimize workflow and workload 
  • Be comfortable in supporting and challenging senior stakeholders 

Previous Experience & Industry Background 

  • 8+ years in Sales, Business development or Client Servicing 
  • Media Agency, Planning Agency, Advertising

  • Strong relationship building skills 
  • A compelling, confident personality who can support people 
  • Comfortable keeping up to date on the latest trends & technologies 
  • Team player 
  • Sales and prospecting skills

  • Knowledge of media planning tools (ideally)
