Position Description
Per diem opening at Backus Hospital, flexible scheduling. Weekend, holiday and time off coverage. Weekday coverage a plus!
The Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates, treats and educates patients with neurological, burn/wound, or musculoskeletal injuries or to patients with other acute or chronic physical disabilities through the use of physical therapy techniques to relieve pain, restore physical functioning and facilitate independence.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy required.
• CT PT license required.
• Experienced clinicians or recent graduates with strong acute care clinical experience.

What you'll do
- The Physical Therapist evaluates, treats, and educates patients suffering from neurological, burn/wound, or musculoskeletal injuries, or other acute or chronic physical disabilities. The goal of the treatment is to relieve pain, restore physical functioning, and facilitate patient independence.
