About this role

An industry leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Director of Mechanical Engineering for their Orlando team!

Responsibilities:

Lead/direct design of public/private development projects
Recruit/build a strong engineering team
Represent the team/firm in project and client interviews
Assist with marketing firm to clients
Work with internal team members
Attend meetings with clients, local authorities, and other professionals
Review designs prepared by others to ensure they adhere to QA/QC standards

Requirements:

BS in Mechanical Engineering
12+ years of Mechanical design experience
PE License
Experience leading a design team
Experience designing multiple types of projects (architectural/industrial)
Broad HVAC/Plumbing design experience for a variety of building/system types

Salary is commensurate with experience.
