We're hiring a Head of People / Recruiting Lead to build and scale our team during this critical growth phase. This is an on-site role at Harper's office — you'll be a foundational hire shaping the team and culture of a company growing rapidly in a massive market.
Own the full recruiting lifecycle — Sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates across all functions.
Build people operations from scratch — Onboarding, performance, culture, compensation — design the systems that scale.
Develop hiring strategies — Attract top talent in a competitive market across technical and go-to-market roles.
Partner with founders — Define roles, org structure, and growth plans directly with leadership.
Build the employer brand — Create a candidate experience that reflects how Harper actually operates: fast, sharp, and different.
Experience in recruiting or people ops at a high-growth startup
Track record of hiring for technical and go-to-market roles
Strong org skills and ability to build systems from scratch in an early-stage environment
Experience in insurance, fintech, or AI-native companies is a plus
