About the Role:

HARMAN Luxury Audio is seeking a commercial leader to take full ownership of the Arcam business in Germany, one of the most strategically important markets in Europe.

This is a country-level leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for sales performance, channel strategy, brand execution, and market development. Operating within a direct-to-market model, the role offers significant scope to shape strategy, influence regional direction, and materially impact growth and profitability.

The successful candidate will act as the Arcam representative in Germany, driving performance through leadership, structure, and disciplined execution across retail, CI, and partner channels.

What You Will Do:

Strategic Accountability

  • Full commercial ownership of the Arcam business in Germany.
  • Responsibility for revenue growth, margin performance, and market share.
  • Leadership of channel strategy across specialist retail, CI, and distribution.
  • Direct input into regional product assortment, go-to-market strategy, and marketing priorities, aligned with global roadmaps.
  • Act as the primary interface between the German market and the wider EMEA and global Luxury Audio organization.

Leadership Scope

  • Direct leadership of two Area Sales Managers (ASMs).
  • Accountability for coaching, performance management, and talent development within the German sales organization.
  • Indirect leadership across key accounts, CI partners, and integrators.
  • Build a high-performance, accountable sales culture focused on structure, planning, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the German market growth strategy for Arcam.
  • Own and develop key national retail and CI accounts.
  • Lead and manage the exclusive CI distributor in Germany.
  • Drive tactical and strategic sales initiatives to accelerate growth and improve profitability.
  • Oversee major trade shows, exhibitions, and dealer events, ensuring strong brand positioning.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, technical, planning, and global BU teams to ensure aligned execution.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, demand planning, and market intelligence to regional leadership.

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • Business Administration or Marketing Degree.
  • This role is suited to a sales leader with proven experience building and leading premium brands in complex markets.
  • At least 10 years senior sales or commercial leadership experience.
  • Proven success operating in direct and indirect sales models.
  • Strong background in high-end audio, premium technology, or luxury consumer electronics.
  • Demonstrated ability to build markets, not simply manage existing business.
  • Strong strategic thinker with a hands-on execution mindset.
  • Deep understanding of margin management, forecasting, and commercial planning.
  • Confident managing complex channel and partner ecosystems.
  • Decisive, accountable, and commercially driven.
  • Able to influence without formal authority.
  • Comfortable leading change and challenging established ways of working.
