Role Summary

We're seeking an experienced Android Tester with expertise in testing Android applications, including GTS (Google Test Suite) and CTS (Compatibility Test Suite). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing Android applications, experience with Mockito and JUnit, and a passion for ensuring high-quality software delivery. Preferably with Python.

Key Responsibilities

1. Android Application Testing: Test Android applications, including GTS and CTS, to ensure compliance with Google's requirements.

2. Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated tests using Mockito and JUnit.

3. Test Planning: Create and execute test plans, including test cases and test scripts.

4. Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify and report defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.

5. Continuous Integration: Participate in continuous integration, ensuring tests are integrated with CI/CD pipelines.

Mandatory

1. Experience: 6 to 9 years of experience in Android testing, with experience in GTS and CTS.

2. Technical Skills:

    1. Strong understanding of Android testing, including GTS and CTS.

    2. Experience with Mockito and JUnit.

    3. Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools.

3. Soft Skills:

    1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    2. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred

1. Experience with Other Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with other testing frameworks, such as Espresso or UI Automator.

2. Experience with CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
