About this role

Join us on a transformative journey as we migrate our document and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) 
platform from mainframe-based applications to a cloud-based platform on AWS. As an Technical Architect with 
a strong background in software engineering, you'll play a key role in driving this transformation by setting 
among our workstreams, designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions 
that leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and DevOps practices. You'll work closely with our 
software development teams to ensure that our cloud infrastructure is optimized for our applications, and that 
our applications are designed to take full advantage of the cloud infrastructure, with development processes 
aligned with cloud best practices. 
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, architects, and other stakeholders 
to make key technical decisions, drive technical excellence, and ensure that our cloud infrastructure and 
applications are highly performant, secure, and scalable. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the future of 
our cloud infrastructure and applications, and in driving the adoption of cloud technologies and practices 
across our team.

With a fleet of 313 modern container ships and a total transport capacity of 2.5 million TEU, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world’s leading liner shipping companies.
