About this role

The Application Infrastructure Support Team (AIS) was founded in December 2021 and it is still growing.

We are responsible for backend applications on Linux and Windows Servers (ex. HAFAS, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab, etc). The focus of our team is on implementation of new things, automation, maintenance (3rd lvl support).

Additionally we grow in experience and want to develop Internal Developer Platform, which goal is to provide a single, integrated developer experience layer that automates repetitive operational work and connects information, ownership, and services in one place.

For this exciting journey, we are hiring highly skilled & motivated colleagues who would like to be part of this endeavor and join the Application Infrastructure Support team in the role of IT System Engineer to keep our systems up and running and to advance modernization as part of our IT strategy.

Our team specialists have wide-range knowledge in the areas of IT administration skills, we are looking for you to join and support us as well. :)

 

The purpose of the role is to:

Ensure operational stability and modernization of backend applications and infrastructure.

Support internal project teams with consulting, provisioning, and automation.

Advance IT strategy through implementation, automation, and maintenance of systems.


With a fleet of 313 modern container ships and a total transport capacity of 2.5 million TEU, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world’s leading liner shipping companies.
