About this role

To support its continued growth in Northern European markets, BEA Sensors Europe is looking for a Technical Sales - Nordics region, based in Belgium (Liège Science Park).

Mission

The mission of our Technical Sales will be to become a key player in BEA's presence among installers and distributors in Scandinavia and to actively participate in the implementation of the market/OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) strategy defined by our Area Sales Managers and/or Head of Area.

As Technical Sales – Nordics region, you will be required to:

  • Plan and organize visits to clients and/or prospects in accordance with the objectives set for the designated sales area.

  • Deliver trainings to clients, thereby actively contributing to BEA's technical credibility against competitors and within the current regulatory framework.

  • Serve as the primary technical contact for your assigned clients for any first-level technical queries. Guide them towards solutions and maintain ongoing communication with these clients.

  • Act as the link between the market and BEA’s technical support team to ensure that no technical issue remains unresolved.

  • Constantly monitor market needs, gather information from the field, and share it with your team. Ensure that these insights receive proper follow-up by our teams, thus contributing to BEA's future developments.

  • Differentiate our services to clients through the excellence of your follow-up.

  • Undertake specific commercial tasks, such as presenting products, services, or specialized accessories.

  • Act as a commercial support to the Area Sales Manager and/or Head of Area.

  • Forward quote requests to the Area Sales Managers/Head of the Area, coordinate the necessary follow-ups to finalize orders, and conclude deals.

Your qualities & skills

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in business with a specific mastery in a technical field (electromechanics) or a Technical Bachelor's degree with a strong affinity for commercial aspects (prospecting, customer loyalty, negotiation), or you have at least one significant experience in a B2B context.  

  • Your language skills are as follows: fluent in both English and French (C1), any Nordics or Germanic language would be big assets.

  • You are willing to travel +/- 30% of the time.

  • A good educator, you can deliver training to various audiences (technicians and/or sales staff).

  • You possess strong interpersonal and listening skills, are persuasive and diplomatic, to advise and guide your internal and external clients.

  • Naturally curious, you know how to ask the right questions and argue effectively.

  • You demonstrate a great capacity for adaptation, anticipation, and initiative-taking.

  • A true team player, you also know how to work independently.

  • You have a critical mind and approach work in a methodical way, while also understanding the sense of urgency and priorities.

  • You are dynamic, patient, and persevering, and maintain an optimistic attitude under all circumstances.

  • You can receive and giving constructive feedback.

  • You dare to go further by stepping out of your comfort zone when necessary.
