About the role

Hermes Regional Deployment Lead will own Hermes program deployment plan in China region including APS (Advanced Planning System) system deployment, IBP process transformation and operation model change in China and Hong Kong markets, and China sites/CMO/Import/CBEC supply planning scope. This is a complex transformation landscape that requires strong collaboration with global Hermes program team of different work-streams and local multi-functional team on global solution adoption and change plan alignment. This role plays an important part of regional deployment plan management, change management and communication.   

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Global Process Owners (GPO), animates the community within the region taking advantage of digitization, positively impacting our business and our efficiency.
  • Regional expert for transformation programs, responsible for leading transformation projects within the organization
  • Develop, build, lead, cross-functional teams, for achieving objectives and driving accountability.
  • Drive accountability in core teams to ensure timely decision-making, effective stakeholder communication, adherence to processes, contingency planning, and execution.
  • Ensure a clear project scope and strategy, aligned resource needs, and comprehensive spend forecasts are in place.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive timelines with cross-functional input, integrating key deliverables and local market launch activities while considering dependencies and resource requirements.
  • Facilitate functional area's probability of success assessments with support from GPO
  • Identify issues and drive resolution with guidance, developing proficiency in the process.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and ensure mitigation plans are established for all projects.
  • Communicate significant changes to the aligned business case quickly and efficiently to appropriate leadership via the existing change control process.
  • Collaborate with global communication and change lead to well lead change management in the market and do regular communication in different ways with different groups
  • Ensure the accuracy of project content by working closely with data owners from the cross-functional project team.
  • Align and deliver all key project milestones to support relevant metrics.
  • Co-develop, align, and track project budgets, communicating variances rapidly.

Qualifications and skills

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, farmilar with tools and techniques for issues and risk management, decision making and reporting.
  • 10+ years of relevant and management experience responsible for supply chain planning and operations, familiar with IBP process

Essential Skills:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Drives change with a high degree of trust and credibility, providing clear project focus and direction
  • Highly motivated, agile & adept learning ability

Preferred:

  • Have experience of supply chain transformation project
  • Have experience of SAP IBP
  • Can speak Chinese
