About this role
To provide editorial content for Hadassah Magazine’s editorial team and support its digital publications and programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop original digital content, including original stories, videos and social media posts
- Assist digital editor in maintaining and posting to Hadassah Magazine’s website
- Provide backup to digital editor for social media outreach
- Assist in podcast/event production
- Coordinate and communicate with magazine event/podcast guests
- Work with freelance writers to coordinate contracts and billing information
- Other duties as required
Required Knowledge, Education, Experience
- Bachelor's degree, with journalism degree or focus a plus
- 2-3 years professional experience in a related field, with website and social media experience a must.
- Proficiency in working on Website CMS
- Proficiency using and developing audience engagement on all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube
- Experience creating and editing video/reels for social media

- Strong writing and editing skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-starter who is quick, efficient and capable of meeting tight deadlines
- Highly motivated and team-oriented
- Knowledge of Jewish landscape a plus
