About this role
H2M architects + engineers, a multi-discipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm with multiple offices in NY & NJ seeks qualified interns to work closely with experienced professionals in our Civil Engineering Division.
The intern will be responsible for:
- General administrative tasks such as gathering and compiling data.
- Assisting project managers with construction drawings and specifications.
- Computer drafting using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:
- Enrolled as a sophomore or higher in a Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering or related field at an accredited institution.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
- Eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work individually as well as in a team.

The hourly rate for this role is $18 - 23.
Our interns work both part time and full time, depending on the group, office, and need of H2M. This is an in-person internship. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in college and are attaining their bachelor’s or master’s degree. Anyone who is not currently attending college should apply to our full-time positions.

What you'll do
- The intern will assist project managers with construction drawings and specifications, as well as perform general administrative tasks. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
