  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze business results and marketing metrics, and partner with line-of-business stakeholders to identify optimization opportunities
  • Manage the Consumer Tax Integrated Marketing Pod to ensure timely tactical delivery across all marketing functions
  • Facilitate workshops with Product Teams to define value propositions, hero products, feature benefits, and offers for the next tax season, culminating in a Product Brief
  • Lead cross-functional retrospectives to identify improvements in timing, messaging, channel mix, and delivery processes; document stop/start/continue recommendations
  • Craft a data-driven Market Strategy Brief using inputs from the Product Brief, Retrospectives, and collaboration with Research and Analytics teams
  • Guide the development of an integrated marketing plan, reviewing functional plans for strategic alignment and providing feedback to ensure synergy across channels
  • Oversee transition from planning to execution, ensuring message mapping across the entire marketing funnel and providing strategic feedback on marketing deliverables across all functions—including Creative, Paid Media, CRM, Web, Social, etc.—to confirm alignment with the Market Strategy Brief
  • Facilitate leadership alignment through bi-weekly Product Syncs, monthly CMO/CPO meetings, and Senior Leadership Team updates, ensuring cohesive narratives and productive discussions

Seasonal Focus Areas:

January – April | Tax Season Execution

  • Performance Management:

  • Delivery Oversight:
    • Lead weekly Consumer Tax Integrated Marketing Pod meetings to ensure all marketing functions are delivering against timelines and priorities
  • In-Season Strategic Support:
    • Maintain alignment on campaign objectives, messaging, and funnel performance to maximize in-season conversion and volume

May – July | Post-Season Analysis & Strategy Development

  • Post-Season Retrospective:
    • Lead cross-functional retrospectives—identifying improvements in channel mix, messaging, timing, processes, and operational coordination
    • Develop “stop / start / continue” recommendations for the next season
  • Product Brief:
    • Facilitate workshops with Product Teams to define value propositions, hero products, feature benefits, and planned offers for the upcoming season; produce a clear, strategically grounded Product Brief
  • Market Strategy Brief:
    • Using insights from the Product Brief, retrospectives, and collaboration with the Customer Center of Excellence (Research) and DS&A (Analytics), develop a data-driven Market Strategy Brief outlining the strategic foundation for the upcoming season

August – November | Planning & Alignment

  • Integrated Marketing Plan Development:
    • Lead the Consumer Tax Marketing Pod to transform the Market Strategy Brief into a cohesive, cross-functional Integrated Marketing Plan
    • Review functional plans (Creative, Media, CRM, Web, Social, etc.) to ensure strategic alignment, synergy, and message consistency across the full funnel
  • Plan Delivery:
    • Support the transition from planning to execution, ensuring message mapping, channel strategy alignment, and consistency in go-to-market materials. Provide strategic feedback on marketing deliverables throughout the process
