Job Description

As a Senior Media Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping how H&M measures, understands, and optimizes marketing performance across markets. You will operate at the intersection of media analytics, attribution, and marketing decision-making — translating complex data into clear direction for media strategy and investment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will take ownership of key media analytics topics, drive the development of new measurement capabilities, and act as a trusted analytical partner to Media Operations and Marketing teams. As a Senior Media Analyst you won’t be responsible for hands-on execution of every analysis, instead you will steer initiatives end-to-end — from defining the problem to ensuring insights are embedded in decisions. You will drive these intiatives, ensuring stakeholders and teams’ are educated, informed and onboard.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Steering the development of media taxonomies and analytical standards across markets, in collaboration with execution teams
  • Leading or co-leading projects to build new measurement capabilities (e.g. content analytics, advanced performance frameworks)
  • Acting as an analytical sparring partner to media and marketing stakeholders, challenging assumptions and shaping decisions
  • Translating attribution and test & learn insights into clear, actionable recommendations for media strategy and investment decisions
  • Driving analysis of paid media performance to improve efficiency, impact, and ROI
  • Defining analytical requirements and priorities for dashboards and reporting together with Data & BI specialists
  • Contributing to team capability growth through mentorship and knowledge sharing

This role offers a high degree of autonomy and requires strong judgment, analytical thinking, excellent people-skills and comfort navigating complex stakeholder environments. This is a permanent position based in Stockholm. 

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH   
You will work closely with Media Operations, Attribution and Test & Learn leads, Data & BI specialists, and marketing teams globally, reporting to the Global Measurement and Analytics Manager. Together, you will ensure analytics supports both day-to-day optimization and long-term marketing strategy.

WHO YOU ARE    

We are looking for someone with... 

  • Analytical depth and a strong business perspective

  • 4–7 years of experience in digital media analytics, performance marketing, or marketing science

  • Strong understanding of paid media channels, KPIs, and optimization levers

  • Experience working with marketing and media analytics, experimentation, or advanced measurement approaches
     
  • Proven ability to drive analytical initiatives and influence decisions without formal leadership responsibility

And someone who is:

  • Curious, structured, and comfortable working in ambiguity

  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and challenging constructively

  • Collaborative, pragmatic, and focused on impact
