Position Overview

The Production Operator II is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment to meet production, quality, and safety objectives. This role supports day-to-day manufacturing activities, maintains accurate documentation, and contributes to a collaborative, team-oriented work environment. Production Operators play a critical role in ensuring products meet H.B. Fuller’s quality standards and customer expectations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production equipment in accordance with established procedures and work instructions

  • Perform routine quality checks and accurately document results

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards

  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate concerns as appropriate

  • Complete production records, documentation, and system entries in a timely and accurate manner

  • Assist with material handling, staging, and basic inventory control activities

  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to team and site goals

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

  • Basic computer skills for data entry and production reporting

  • Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating automated manufacturing or chemical processing equipment

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles

  • Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting capabilities

  • Forklift certification

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $23.00 – $26.00 per hour (based on experience).
