El Técnico de Mantenimiento es responsable de ejecutar actividades de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo para asegurar el funcionamiento óptimo del equipo utilizado en procesos químicos. Este puesto contribuye directamente a la continuidad operativa, al cumplimiento de estándares de seguridad y a la eficiencia en un entorno de manufactura.
Responsabilidades principales
• Ejecutar mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo en equipos como bombas, mezcladores, reactores, líneas de producción y maquinaria auxiliar.
• Diagnosticar y reparar fallas mecánicas, eléctricas o hidráulicas para restablecer la operación segura del equipo.
• Apoyar en la instalación, ajuste y puesta en marcha de nuevos equipos o modificaciones de proceso.
• Registrar actividades de mantenimiento en el sistema CMMS y asegurar la actualización de información técnica.
• Cumplir con normas de seguridad, calidad y medio ambiente durante la ejecución de todas las tareas.
• Atender reportes de falla de manera oportuna para minimizar el tiempo de inactividad en producción.
• Realizar inspecciones rutinarias para identificar condiciones anómalas y reportar desviaciones al Supervisor de Mantenimiento.
• Colaborar con el equipo de producción para coordinar actividades de mantenimiento que afecten la operación.
• Apoyar en la gestión de refacciones, incluyendo revisión de disponibilidad y solicitud de surtido.
• Participar en iniciativas de mejora continua orientadas a incrementar la confiabilidad del equipo y la eficiencia operativa.
Requisitos mínimos
• Carrera técnica o certificación en Mantenimiento Mecánico, Eléctrico, Electromecánico o Industrial.
• 2+ años de experiencia en mantenimiento dentro de la industria química, manufactura o procesos industriales.
• Conocimiento básico/intermedio de sistemas mecánicos, eléctricos e hidráulicos aplicados a equipos de proceso.
• Capacidad para interpretar planos, diagramas eléctricos y manuales de operación.
• Conocimientos básicos de computación para uso de CMMS y registro de actividades.
Requisitos deseables
• Experiencia con SAP o sistemas CMMS similares.
• Conocimientos en mantenimiento predictivo (vibración, termografía, análisis de aceite).
• Familiaridad con prácticas de TPM o RCM.
• Inglés básico (lectura de manuales técnicos).
• Habilidad demostrada para diagnosticar fallas y proponer soluciones eficaces.
• Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno dinámico, con enfoque en seguridad y trabajo en equipo.
