Join us.</p><p> </p><br><p><strong>Your Impact:</strong></p><p> </p><p>We are looking for a passionate and motivated <strong>Software Engineer</strong> with strong programming skills and a keen interest in <strong>Artificial Intelligence</strong>. The ideal candidate should be eager to <strong>quickly learn and apply AI technologies</strong>, particularly in <strong>Generative and Agentic AI</strong>. You will work with senior engineers to build AI-based solutions leveraging <strong>Python</strong>, <strong>Java</strong>, and have <strong>knowledge on LangChain and LlamaIndex</strong>, along with <strong>PostgreSQL</strong> as a vector database.</p><p> </p><p><strong>What the role offers:</strong></p><p> </p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;" type="disc"><li>Develop and maintain AI components and services using <strong>Python</strong> and <strong>Java</strong>.</li><li>Support the creation and optimization of <strong>RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)</strong> pipelines.</li><li>Apply <strong>Prompt Engineering</strong> techniques to refine and optimize AI responses.</li><li>Gain hands-on exposure to <strong>Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and NLP</strong>.</li><li>Continuously learn and adapt to emerging <strong>AI frameworks and tools</strong>.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>What you need to succeed:</strong></p><p> </p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;" type="disc"><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Applications, or Computer Science.</li><li>6–8 years of software development experience.</li><li><strong>Proficiency in Python and Java</strong>, with strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.</li><li>Exposure to <strong>Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and NLP</strong>.</li><li><strong>Knowledge on LangChain and LlamaIndex</strong> frameworks.</li><li><strong>Exposure in vector databases (PostgreSQL) is an added advantage.</strong></li><li><strong>Exposure in UI design using AngularJS or React is an added advantage.</strong></li><li>Ability to <strong>quickly learn and apply new AI frameworks and technologies</strong>.</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills.</li></ul> <br><p> </p><p style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0px">OpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
