It is an exciting opportunity to design and implement solutions for enterprise level systems.  </p><p>OpenText Business Network is a modern cloud platform that helps manage the full data lifecycle, from information capture and exchange to integration and governance. </p><p>Business Network solutions establish the necessary digital backbone for streamlined connectivity, secure collaboration, and real-time business intelligence across an expanding network of internal systems, cloud applications, trading partner systems and connected devices.  </p><p> </p><p><strong>YOUR IMPACT:</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><ul><li>As a Software Engineer, you should have good design and coding skills.</li><li>You will be part of an agile team, take on complex problems and design and code.</li><li>You are not only expected to deliver your area but contribute to the overall product space.</li><li>You are expected to participate in technical innovation within your product area.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS</strong><strong>:</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><ul><li>As a Senior/Lead Software Engineer, you will have opportunities to:</li><li>Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data infrastructure for ingesting, storing, and processing large volumes of supply chain data.</li><li>Design and maintain data models that support advanced analytics, machine learning, and real-time decision-making.</li><li>Collaborate with software engineers and data scientists to integrate AI/ML models into production systems.</li><li>Define and enforce data governance, quality, and lifecycle management practices.</li><li>Optimize data workflows and storage for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.</li><li>Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural best practices. </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED</strong>:</p><p><strong> </strong></p><ul><li>Experience in data-intensive or analytics-focused applications.</li><li>Extensive expertise in full stack development<ul style="list-style-type: circle;"><li>Front-End: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.</li><li>API: RESTful API design, Microservices architecture, GraphQL.</li><li>Back-End: Java, Spring Boot, REST, Node.js</li><li>Databases: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), NoSQL (MongoDB)</li></ul></li><li>Good to have expertise<ul style="list-style-type: circle;"><li>Designing and implementing data platforms using technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar.</li><li>Data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and distributed systems.</li></ul></li><li>AI & Automation: AI/ML concepts, Gen/Agentic AI, Integration of AI services, RAG, MCP.</li><li>DevOps: Git, CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions), Docker, Kubernetes</li><li>Cloud: AWS, Azure, or GCP; Serverless & Infrastructure as Code</li><li>Security: Secure coding, OAuth/JWT, compliance awareness</li><li>Agile Tools: JIRA, Confluence; Scrum/Kanban practices</li><li>Strong communication skills - verbal, written.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent/MCA/ equivalent</li><li>5-10 years relevant work experience</li></ul><br><p> </p><p style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:14.0px">OpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
