About this role

Basic duties include partnering with Radiation Oncology MDs in the clinic setting in La Crosse in helping manage and supporting patients through their cancer treatments and helping with complex care coordination across multiple specialties.  There would also be close collaboration with the departments nursing and physics/dosimetry staff.  Candidate would also provide follow up care, participate in Multidisciplinary Clinics, and help provide Survivorship Care for cancer patients.   Teaching students, residents, fellows and clinical staff is a cornerstone to our medical education philosophy and an expectation of all clinicians.

The NP/PA will support the Radiation Oncology team with histories & physicals, evaluations, assessments of patients under treatment, follow up care, and collaboration of care. Work hours will include a rotation of Monday through Friday. A Wisconsin license and completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program is required.

Must have completed an accredited program and be eligible to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations.  Advanced practice clinicians work in collaboration with, and under the direct supervision of, a physician.
