Are you passionate about making a difference in patients' lives? Do you thrive in a supportive team environment? Gundersen Emplify Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Dermatology Department!

 

What is available:

  • 0.9 FTE, 72 hours bi-weekly
  • Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM
  • No weekend or holiday hours required

 

What you will do:

  • Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our patients by greeting them with a warm and welcoming smile and setting the tone for their appointments
  • Enjoy variety in your role—pre-visit planning, medication refills, and supporting nurses with in-basket work
  • Room patients, take vitals, and keep charting accurate and up-to-date
  • Collaborate with schedulers to ensure provider calendars run smoothly
  • Engage in hands on experience assisting providers with procedures and processing equipment
  • Partner with a team of providers, medical professionals, and managers who are here to support your success and that of our patients in their health journeys.

What you need:

  • Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN OR  High School Diploma or equivalency and attained a Medical Assistant Certification 
  • BLS for healthcare workers
