Guidewire Professional Services組織には、ビジネスアナリスト、機能コンサルタント、技術統合コンサルタントがおり、お客様とSIベンダーがGuidewireアプリケーションを顧客サイトに導入できるよう協力して支援します。プロジェクトは複雑で、お客様の具体的な要件に応じて3か月から2年かかる場合があります。プロジェクト期間中、チームはお客様のビジネス要件を特定し、それらの要件を満たすOOTB機能と設定を活用したソリューションを策定し、Guidewireアプリケーションを他の社内または社外システムに統合します。

Guidewireコンサルタントは、業務の大部分をお客様のビジネスチームおよび技術チームと共にオンサイトで過ごすことが期待されます。この職務は主に日本国内で行われますが、Guidewireが事業を展開している他の地域で勤務する機会もあります。

Guidewire プロフェッショナルサービス部門では、当社の損害保険会社向けソフトウェア実装プロジェクトにおいて、上級コンサルタントで構成される小規模チームの一員として働くことに興味のある、テクニカルアーキテクトを募集しています。

Guidewire プロフェッショナルサービス部門には、ビジネスアナリスト、ファンクショナルコンサルタント、テクニカルインテグレーションコンサルタントが在籍しており、Guidewire アプリケーションをお客様が導入するにあたり、お客様と SI ベンダーに対して支援を提供しています。プロジェクトは複雑で、お客様の具体的な要件に応じて、3 ヵ月から 2 年かかる場合があります。プロジェクト期間中、チームはお客様の業務要件を特定し、要件を満たすために当社製品の標準機能を活用しつつ、必要に応じてコンフィグレーションを加えたソリューションを策定し、Guidewire アプリケーションと他の社内システムや社外システムと連携する作業を支援します。


Guidewire コンサルタントは、業務のおおよそ半分をお客様の業務部門チームや IT チームとオンサイトで過ごし、残り半分はリモートで作業します。本役割は、主に日本国内での勤務ですが、当社が事業を展開している他の地域向けにリモートで作業を行う機会もあります。
Guidewire アプリケーションは柔軟性に優れているため、お客様の要件に合わせて高度にコンフィグレーションすることが可能であり、お客様の目的と要件を完全に理解する能力が求められます。


The Guidewire Professional Services organization includes business analysts, functional consultants, and technical integration consultants who work together to help customer and SI vendors to implement Guidewire applications at customer sites. Our projects are complex and can last from three months to two years depending on the specific customer requirements. During a project, the team will identify customer business requirements, identify solutions leveraging OOTB capabilities coupled with configuration to meet those requirements, and integrate the Guidewire application to other internal or external systems.

Guidewire consultants are expected to spend the majority of their time on-site with the customer business and technical teams. This is primarily a Japan-based role but there may be an opportunity to work in other regions that Guidewire operates in.

Guidewire applications are highly configurable to the requirements of each customer and require a thorough understanding of the objectives and requirements of the customer.

• お客様のインフラチームおよびシステムインテグレーター（SIer）と関係を構築し、連携ソリューションを調整します。

• お客様のニーズを満たすため、Guidewire の連携フレームワークを使用し、システム連携を設計・開発します。

• Guidewire アプリケーションと外部システム間のデータフローを管理し、データの完全性を確保します。

• 連携アプローチを検証し、実現可能性を実証するために、概念実証（PoC）を実施します。

• Guidewire のグローバルチームと連携して技術的な洞察を共有し、連携戦略のすり合わせを行います。

• Guidewire では、好奇心、イノベーション、そして AI の責任ある活用を重視する文化を育んでいます。これにより、チームは新たに台頭してきた技術とデータに基づく洞察を継続的に活用し、生産性と成果の向上に努めています。

これらの役割は、お客様に対して Guidewire Software を代表する存在です。コンサルタントとして採用される方は、お客様と密に連携しながら、Guidewire の製品管理部門が製品の長所と短所を常に把握できるよう努めることが期待されます。本ポジションでは、技術的な適性、ビジネスプロセスの理解、そして顧客対応スキルといった、独自の組み合わせが求められます。

必須のスキルと経験

• 日本語能力試験（JLPT）1級レベルの日本語能力と日本の商習慣に関する理解、人間関係構築能力

• 英語力（TOEIC  700 800点以上または同等の資格、もしくは語学力チェックに通ること）

• 通算 7 年以上のソフトウェア開発とコンサルティングの経験（各領域における経験は3年以上）

• 優れたコミュニケーション能力、リーダーシップ、組織力、顧客サービス能力

• 柔軟かつ積極的に労働倫理を遵守するマインドを持ち、自立して、かつ少人数のチームで業務を遂行できる能力

• アジャイル開発の豊富な経験

• 以下の専門知識：

  • 高度な web アプリケーションの経験

  • 2 年以上のオブジェクト志向のプログラミング経験（Java, C# 等）

  • 2 年以上のリレーショナルデータベースとクラウドプラットフォームの経験（AWS、GCP）

• 新製品や新しいビジネス分野についての積極的な学習意欲

• 議論を主導し、お客様の状況に対応し、設計から配備まで連携ソリューションをデリバリできる能力

• 技術仕様の策定、プログラミングおよびコンフィグレーションを通じた実装、連携ソフトウェアシステムの設計、テスト、配備の経験

• AIを活用し、自身の業務に適用する能力。またデータに基づいた洞察を活用してイノベーションや生産性の向上、継続的な改善を推進できる能力
   

あると望ましいスキルと経験 

• 日本の損害保険に関する経験や知識（契約管理、損害サービス管理、およびその他処理を含む）

• システムアナリストやコンサルタントとしての経験

• Guidewire 製品の設計、コンフィグレーション、テストにおける実務経験

以下の 1 つ以上の分野における経験：
1) Webサービス（API）（REST、JSON-RPC、SOAP）、メッセージキューなどの一般的な最新の連携方法　
2) エンタープライズ連携ミドルウェアおよびマイクロサービスアーキテクチャの開発経験とソフトウェア／ネットワークセキュリティに関する一般的な知識
3) VCS、CICD（Git、Teamcityなど）の経験
4) 可観測性ツール（Datadogなど）

Key activities include:

• Collaborate with Japanese customers in Japanese to understand system integration needs, ensure alignment with business requirements, address technical challenges and deliver integration design documents

• Build relationships with customer infrastructure teams and System Integrators (SI) to coordinate technical solutions

• Design and develop system integrations using Guidewire’s Integration Framework to meet customer needs

• Manage data flow between Guidewire applications and external systems to ensure data integrity

• Conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) activities to validate integration approaches and demonstrate feasibility

• Collaborate with Guidewire’s global teams to share technical insights and align integration strategies

These roles represent Guidewire Software to our customers. The successful consultant is expected to closely with our customers while making sure that Guidewire product management is kept abreast of product strengths and weaknesses. The position requires a unique blend of technical aptitude, business process understanding, and customer-facing skills.

Required skills/experience - all:

• Japanese proficiency at JLPT 1 level and understanding of Japan's business environment, with proven relationship-building skills

• English fluency demonstrated by TOEIC score of 700800–900 or equivalent, or passing a language assessment

• Over 7 years of combined experience in software development and consulting, with no less than 3 years

• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and in small teams, with a flexible and proactive work ethic.

• Extensive Agile development experience

• Technical expertise in:

  • Advanced web applications

  • 2+ years of Object-Oriented Programming (e.g., Java, C#)

  • 2+ years of relational databases and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)

• Enthusiastic learner of new products and business domains

• Ability to lead discussions, navigate customer situations, and deliver technical solutions from design to deployment

• Experience in developing technical specifications, implementing them through programming and configuration, and designing, testing, and deploying integrated software systems

• Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your role as well as use data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Desired skills/experience:

• Experience or knowledge of non-life insurance in Japan, including policies, claims, and processing

• Systems analyst/consultant experience

• Hands-on experience with Guidewire products for design, configuration, and testing

• Experience in one or more of the following fields: 1) General modern integration methods such as web services (API) technology (REST, JSON-RPC, SOAP), message queues 2) Experience developing enterprise integration middleware and micro-service architecture with general knowledge of software/networks security. 3) Experience with VCS, CICD (Git, Teamcity, etc.) 4) Observability tool(Datadog, etc.).
