<p style="line-height: 1.4;"></p> <p><strong>Overview:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>We are currently seeking qualified candidates to join our Sydney Institutional Business Development team as a <strong>Business Development Manager.</strong> The incumbent should have expertise in selling into global and regional financial institutions, including in-depth knowledge of the ANZ market. It is, therefore, vital that you are a passionate individual who wants to make a difference.</p> <p>Guidepoint gives investors, consultants, and professionals of all backgrounds the intelligence they need to clarify the uncertain and assuredly take essential decisions with ultimate confidence via insight and knowledge gained from vetted industry &amp; subject-matter experts.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Proactively seek out opportunities.</li> <li>Help to develop a sales strategy designed to achieve revenue targets as part of the regional and global sales team</li> <li>Strategic sales &amp; account management planning from concept to execution across the institutional sector in Australia.</li> <li>Deliver commercial path to aggressive, yet achievable, growth and profitability of the company</li> <li>Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients in Australia across the spectrum of institutional and investment firm clients.&nbsp;</li> <li>Communication of market developments to marketing and client service team.&nbsp;</li> <li>Proven expertise to plan and deliver results in a highly demanding environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Have:</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>University degree from a recognised institution</li> <li>At least 3 to 4+ years of sales/ business development experience, ideally with a focus on B2B selling within the research/ information service, financial/investment or other similar sectors.</li> <li>Excellent communicator capable of handling high-profile clients with demonstrated ability in establishing effective relationships with stakeholders.</li> <li>Ability to thrive within a fast-paced environment, entrepreneurial mindset, and an unwavering desire to succeed.</li> <li>Clearly demonstrated ability to work independently and within teams.</li> <li>Ability to work with executives across Asia and globally</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What We Offer:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Centrally located office</li> <li>Flexible work arrangement (2 days work from home)</li> <li>Competitive compensation</li> <li>Informal work environment</li> <li>Entrepreneurial, diverse, international culture​</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About Guidepoint:</strong></p> <p>Guidepoint is a leading research enablement platform designed to advance understanding and empower our clients’ decision-making process.
