What You Will Do:

  • Perform budget execution activities as assigned.  This may include extracting, analyzing, summarizing and preparing data for presentation from the financial system, travel system, purchase card tool, etc. 

  • Manage multiple Spend Plan, conduct reconciliation between the financial reports and the spend plan; identify inconsistencies or imbalances, collaborate with stakeholders and provide recommendation / mitigation strategy to address the issues/concerns

  • Track commitments, obligations, expenditures using systems like the Federal Financial Management System (FFMS)

  • Provide support in building and maintaining CSD budget dashboard. 

  • Analyze financial data and prepare complex financial reports and briefings.

  • Allocate and track funding across multiple subdivisions and program codes.

  • Reconcile plan funding with actual expenditures

What You Will Need:

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.

  • Bachelors degree

  • THREE (3) or more experience in the federal budget process, federal budget lifecycle, and the federal procurement process

  • Expert in in Microsoft Excel, PowerBi, Power Apps.

  • Proficient in MS applications: including Excel, Word Doc, PPT, PowerBI


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills to serve as a liaison between CSD Front Office, Subdivisions, and CFO.

  • Familiar with the federal travel and government purchase card policies
