Job Description: Procurement & Requisition Specialist

  • Strong understanding of P2P lifecycle (requisitions, PO creation, receiving, invoicing). Familiarity with procurement systems: Oracle ePro, GSC
  • Ensure that ePro requisitions, purchase orders, and receiving workflows are completed accurately and on time.
  • Follow up with requesters for delayed receiving, ensuring timely payment releases and discount capture.
  • Create, review, and submit requisitions for goods and services using ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Finance ERP)
  • Ensure correct Business Unit (BU), delivery location, and requester details are set before initiating requisitions. Process catalog, non-catalog, punchout, and eCheck requisitions accurately.
  • Maintain accurate requisition records, including justification notes and invoice attachments for audit readiness.
  • Utilize eProcurement tools effectively and assist users with system-related queries.

Essential Skills

  • ERP Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Oracle Finance ERP or similar procurement systems.
  • Procurement Knowledge: Understanding of sourcing, vendor management, and requisition lifecycle.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in requisition creation and compliance checks.
  • Communication: Strong coordination with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve approval bottlenecks and system issues quickly.
  • Policy Awareness: Familiarity with organizational procurement and contracting policies.
