Senior Data Engineer (Data Staging & Data Management)

Our goal is to provide solutions for our customers that help them achieve critical business outcomes, while enabling our GAPSters and our communities to attain long-term success.</p><p>Summary</p><p>We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the Audience &amp; Data Management (ADM) team, with a strong focus on data ingestion, staging, data quality, integrations, and operational support of enterprise data platforms and vendors.</p><p>In this role, you will support data-driven initiatives across marketing, customer acquisition, and business strategy by ensuring reliable, compliant, and high-quality data pipelines. You will work hands-on within proprietary marketing and data platforms, contributing to the design, implementation, testing, and execution of data workflows used in production campaigns and analytics.</p><p>This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional and cross-geographic teams, including Marketing, Analytics, IT, and external vendors. You will act as a bridge between business strategy and technical implementation, translating complex requirements into scalable data solutions within a regulated environment.</p><p><strong>Education</strong></p><p>•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.</p><p><strong>Professional Experience</strong></p><p>•5–8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Management, or Data Platform roles.</p><p>•Proven experience working with large-scale, complex datasets in enterprise environments.</p><p>•Hands-on experience supporting data ingestion, staging, and processing pipelines.</p><p>•Experience collaborating with third-party vendors and cross-functional internal teams.</p><p>•Background working in regulated data environments is highly preferred.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>•Manage end-to-end data ingestion and staging processes across multiple data sources, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data.</p><p>•Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, and availability for downstream consumption.</p><p>•Design, support, and maintain data integrations across internal systems, enterprise platforms, and external vendors.</p><p>•Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot data publishing and processing workflows.</p><p>•Act as a hands-on technical contributor within proprietary marketing and data platforms, coding and testing data scenarios prior to production execution.</p><p>•Provide operational oversight for day-to-day activities of critical data processing vendors.</p><p>•Collaborate closely with Marketing, Analytics, IT, and external partners to support campaign execution and strategic initiatives.</p><p>•Participate in project meetings, technical design discussions, daily scrums, and delivery planning.</p><p>•Ensure compliance with data controls, regulatory requirements, security standards, and internal governance policies.</p><p>•Translate business goals and marketing strategies into technical data solutions that support acquisition, retention, and analytics use cases.</p><p><strong>Required Technical Skills</strong></p><p>•Strong SQL expertise for data querying, validation, and troubleshooting.</p><p>•Experience working with SAS in data processing or analytics workflows.</p><p>•Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments.</p><p>•Experience with Oracle databases and enterprise data platforms.</p><p>•Exposure to cloud-based data environments such as AWS and Snowflake.</p><p>•Familiarity with Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop ecosystems).</p><p>•Experience with data integrations, APIs, secure data transfer mechanisms, and encryption standards.</p><p>•Understanding of enterprise-scale data pipelines, batch processing, and staging architectures.</p><p>•Experience working within proprietary or highly customized enterprise data platforms.</p><p><strong>Soft Skills</strong></p><p>•Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).</p><p>•Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.</p><p>•Highly organized with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.</p><p>•Comfortable working across distributed, cross-functional, and cross-geographic teams.</p><p>•Proactive problem-solver with the ability to operate in fast-paced, high-impact environments.</p><p>•Strong sense of ownership and accountability for data reliability and delivery.</p><p></p><p><em>At Growth Acceleration Partners, we're an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
