Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Journeyman Electrician to join our Valued Clients team at a carbon capture plant in Squamish, BC. This is a full-time position, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence, safety, and environmental responsibility in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment within a carbon capture facility.

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

  • Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure reliable plant operations.

  • Ensure all work complies with the Canadian Electrical Code, site standards, and safety regulations.

  • Work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to support plant performance.

Qualifications:

  • Red Seal Journeyman Electrician certification.

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial or heavy commercial environment.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and safety practices.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues independently.

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in industrial processing, energy, or carbon capture facilities.

  • Familiarity with PLCs, instrumentation, and control systems.

  • Previous experience working on environmentally regulated industrial sites.

Work Environment:

  • Industrial carbon capture plant setting.

  • Combination of indoor and outdoor work.

  • Exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and varying weather conditions while adhering to strict safety protocols.
