Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized individual for a full-time Salon + Spa Coordinator.

We hope to support and develop this individual into a Salon + Spa Supervisor as they grow within the position. 

This position is ideal for someone who excels in customer service, enjoys creating a welcoming atmosphere, and can provide a positive first point of contact for the salon and spa. 

What You’ll Be Doing

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinate client appointments to ensure smooth and efficient guest flow.

• Provide thorough and knowledgeable explanations of the spas services in order to maximize each sale and optimize customer satisfaction.

• Create an inviting atmosphere and being the point of contact for guests.

• Schedule appointments for service providers, answer phones, email clients and handle bridal contracts.

• Collect payment for services from guests.

• Ability to gather social media/marketing content a plus. 

• Support Spa team members.

• Assist manager with inventory of product.

• Sell gift certificates, advise on gift selection, maintain accurate gift sales data.

• Perform sales transactions, and take responsibility for Point of Sale data; follow procedures and maintain high standard of accuracy.

• Be willing to take on cleaning tasks that could consiste of -  bathrooms, floors, dishes, spa rooms, etc

What You Need for this Position

• Available for full time work (hours vary)

• Good communication and phone skills

• Ability to multi-task

• Professional demeanor

• Follow through 

• Excellent customer service skills

• Office administration skills 

• Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more

• Able to stoop and bend

• Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds 

• Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment

• Able to comply with safety and health code standards
