The Opportunity

The Operations Analyst supports the procurement of all items for the production schedule, while adhering to established inventory goals. In addition, you will take initiative to improve the movement, distribution, and storage of goods, while ensuring all stakeholders are provided excellent service throughout the entire supply chain.  

 

Candidates for this job have a strong eye for detail, can provide quick and strategic solutions, adapt to sudden changes, manage difficult and complex challenges, and work collaboratively with excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidates have a positive attitude and extreme determination to help us build inventory management systems and operational processes capable of scaling to support the fastest growing customer base. 


This role requires immediate availability, and the contract term will run through April 24, 2026.

 

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
 

  • Perform analysis on a variety of supply chain and production data sets to measure performance, identify trends, model impacts of resource changes, and discover optimization opportunities
  • Communicate information with vendors efficiently and convey a sense of urgency when necessary to aid the procurement or sourcing process  
  • Provide assistance with the creation of purchase orders, the management of suppliers, and updating pricing
  • Enhance inventory management, manufacturing, and warehouse processes to achieve greater accuracy and efficiency.  
  •  Implement and modify systems, processes, and optimization projects in accordance with organizational goals 
  •  Conduct backed analyses to determine the feasibility of projects and develop alternative strategies  
  •  Maintain finished goods and packaging inventories by participating in inventory cycle counts  
  •  Being the primary point of contact to Retail Managers for supplies to retail stores, including addressing delivery concerns and and providing short/long term solutions 
  •  Managing inventory shortages and uploading weekly orders to the stores  
  •  Contribute to management meetings by pulling reports, gathering insights, and presenting key findings 

 

Key Projects Include: 

  • Category Manager with a focus on smoothie ingredients and retail supplies  
  •  Enhancing the inventory management process to maximize efficiency and minimizing disruptions to production  
  •  Optimizing warehouse layout and analyzing space planning and allocating inventory in a high-velocity manner  
  •  Supporting new packaging innovations  

 

Skill Requirements: 

  • Self-driven initiative to gain and implement a broad knowledge of warehousing and supply chain best practices 
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations/Supply chain, Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering 
  •  Excellent communication skills for establishing and maintaining relationships with Suppliers  
  • The ability to manage time, prioritize, be proactive, look at the bigger picture, recognize issues and take initiative are all essential qualities  
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel  


Vacancy Status: This is an existing vacancy.

Annual Compensation Range: $20.00 CAD per hour ($41,600.00 CAD annually)
