This position will assist the Production Supervisor on the day-to-day processing activities for the Production Department and facility. The Crew Lead will be required to support operations of all equipment on the processing area, dryer deck, and pack out area while maintaining with the standards established regarding Safety and Quality.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitoring routine results, responds to trends and patterns, and initiates root cause activities as needed using various systems and multiple technical strategies.
Support systems such as RedZone, NAV, and other systems as needed.
Responsible for effective shift start-up and daily operation of assigned process to ensure the designated volume and/or mix is properly released to the production floor.
Directs activities of day-to-day operation including training of operators and other personnel associated with the assigned function.
Works closely with the various operations teams to ensure continuous flow and monitoring of equipment and/or solutions.
Reports equipment performance as needed to ensure function effectiveness.
Ensures that assigned schedules or needs are met and that staff adheres to start, stop, and break times.
Assures line or segments activities are set up prior to start of shift and properly closes based on schedules.
Actively participates in the development and delivery of various plans to ensure proper execution of system requirements.
Reports all performance, process, or safety concerns to management in a timely manner.
Work with Quality Assurance Department to monitor machine settings and machine rejections and flume chemical concentrations.
Work with necessary groups to organize testing of new documentation and process improvements.
Responsible for adherence to Safety Guidelines, GMP policies, Quality Standards, Production Guidelines, etc.
Provides written communication for equipment checks and downtime. Able to handle multiple tasks daily.
Ability to travel to Yuma, AZ/Salinas, CA a plus
