What is needed for this job as our Swim Team Coach:

• 18+ years of age 

• High School Degree or equivalent

• 2 years of directly related experience in developing and conducting programs 

• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including nights and weekends

• Ability to travel between multiple branches in the city of Philadelphia

• Understanding of computer software used for running meets and swimmer lineups

The responsibilities we will trust you with as our Swim Team Coach:

• Evaluate swimmers’ skills and lead them through skill mastery and swim practices

• Recruit, train, and supervise the competitive swim staff and conduct monthly  meetings

• Provide support and encouragement to participants and ensure fair practice and swim meet experience

• Ensure you are the first one to arrive and the last one to leave at practices and meets

• The coach is responsible for setting up home meets and working with the parents’ committee in securing volunteers to run the swim meets
