What is needed for this job as our Member Engagement Specialist:

• Minimum 2 years of related experience in engagement, events, or community-facing roles

• Experience delivering programs or trainings that foster connection

• Experience working with varied age groups preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse populations

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Creativity and strategic thinking applied to engagement initiatives

• Demonstrated ability to sustain positive working relationships at all levels

The responsibilities we will trust you as our Member Engagement Specialist:

• Support and Implement Initiatives: Enhance and execute initiatives that improve interaction and involvement, including employees, members, or community members

• Coordinate Events and Activities. Plan and manage engagement initiatives such as workshops, meetings, outreach events, and social functions

• Coordinate Communication: Serve as a liaison between an organization and its stakeholders, developing communication plans and creating materials to share information and encourage participation

• Nurture Relationships: Cultivate positive working relationships with internal stakeholders to promote collaboration and partnership

• Track and Evaluate Performance: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of engagement programs, using data and feedback to identify areas for improvement 

• Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, membership, wellness, small group exercise and branch leadership, to align engagement efforts with overall objectives
